Very happy to share this clip with you guys from 1998. This was at the first ever American Lindy Hop Championships. They had Dawn do a demo at one of the dances and it was the first time I got to see her dance. I remember watching her expressions and movement and laughing out loud at times, no one had ever done that to me before. She dancing with Andrew D'Angelo (who was on the West Coast Swing scene in New York at the time), Charlie Meade (an younger old timer ala Sonny Allen), and Sylvia Sykes. There's not a ton of footage of Dawn dancing online so I was very excited when I got the okay from the event to post this.
