Whenever we create a Masters Challenge routine we try to find a spark for creativity - a theme, a song, a vibe, a step - something to help create the piece. For this one we looked to old Hollywood - specifically the influential dancer Dean Collins and his partner Jewel McGowan. We are far from perfect copies, but we enjoyed taking our inspiration from such stylish dancers!

It gets cold here in Minnesota so I made sure to dance this charleston number as the leaves were still falling. Though I tend to love more swing era 4/4 songs for dancing, there is some special magic in this Jelly Roll tune. I hope you enjoy my little routine to it - N
